It's actually 0.3 mm difference according to what people have been measuring. Essentially nothing. Biggest difference is the bracelet width and lug taper. 41mm all day. The 41 is a great watch but for me the wider bracelet and narrower lugs makes it a bit soft looking. I prefer the presence of the 40mm as well.
